Ordinarily when Miriam arrives in our room in the morning she brings her favourite blanket (gu-gi), baby doll (Mamy), and her Giraffe family (Neck giraffe (a neck pillow), Giraffe (soft toy), 2 baby giraffes and three miniature giraffes (a mum, dad and baby of course).
This morning she arrived with gu-gi plus a large woollen blanket and complaining that she couldn’t find her wheat bag (which Louise had taken away once Miriam fell asleep).
Thanks to a new baby we have had the heaters on full-blast (our power bill has sky-rocketed) and most of the time we are toasty warm. It has been a chilly week though with not much sunshine to warm us up.
