Isabella loves the bath. I usually bath my babies in the kitchen sink for the first few weeks as it is so much easier on my back. Isabella has had baths in the big bath with me and in the baby bath and she really enjoys the extra space to kick around so I think our sink-bathing days are over. These photos are when she is 3 weeks old.
The midwife just visited (Isabella will be 4 weeks old tomorrow) and Isabella now weighs 4.7kg! She is very settled and happy and alert and we are getting lovely smiles!!
We are surviving the school holidays, the house is getting messier day by day and I feel sorry for the kids that we haven’t been able to get out and about and do things. We did go for a little walk yesterday at the Styx Mill reserve but Miriam fell into a mud puddle so we didn’t have as long as we’d thought, it was pretty cold anyway even though the sun was shining.
Next week with school going back we will be well and truly back to our normal (busy) routine and these precious newborn ‘babymoon’ days will be over.

She’s delightful. I can’t wait to meet her in December.
